Vasileiadis

Angelos V. Vassiliadis, MD, PhD, is an Orthopaedic Surgeon and associate at

Orthopaedic Department of the "St. Luke's" Clinic, while at the same time he is Scientific

Scholar at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Science of Croix-Rousse

Hospital in Lyon, France.

After completing the compulsory service in the field at P.I. Kipouriou of

K.Y. Descati-Grevena and his basic surgical training at the Cancer Center of the

Hospital of Thessaloniki "Theagenio", specialized in Orthopaedic Surgery and

Traumatology at the General Hospital of Katerini and the B Orthopaedic Clinic of the General Hospital of Thessaloniki.

"Papageorgiou", where he received the specialty title "Orthopaedics and

Traumatology" in 2022.

He specialised in robotic surgery, arthroscopic surgery as well as in

Knee and hip arthroplasty operations at the Department of Orthopaedics of Croix-Rousse

Hospital in Lyon, France.

His scientific and clinical work is internationally recognized and as a result he is

Robotic surgery fellow of the European Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons

and Traumatology (EBOT), a fellow of the International Cartilage Repair Society (ICRS),

fellow of the Journal of Experimental Orthopaedics (JEO) of the

European Society of Knee Surgery, Arthroscopy and Sports Injuries

(ESSKA), as well as a fellow of the European Knee Society (EKS).

He has a rich scientific, research and writing record with more than 65

publications in international journals with impact index, writing in book chapters

(English and Greek speaking) as well as numerous presentations and lectures.

Finally, his free time is dedicated to his family and sports.
