He entered the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2005, after participating in the national examinations and graduated in 2011.
He then trained in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Trikala. In the same hospital he started training in the specialty of Urology, which he completed at the 1st Urology Clinic of the University of Thessaloniki, at the General Hospital "G. Gennimatas".
After obtaining his specialty degree, he received further training at the same clinic in the andrology clinic, the prostate clinic and the chronic prostatitis clinic, while at the same time he actively participated in the research work of the clinic as a researcher or research assistant.
Following a fellowship from the Urological Society of Northern Greece, he participated as a clinical visitor in the work of the NHS Fife Queen Victoria Urology Clinic, Queen Margaret Hospitals, where he was exposed to modern minimally invasive techniques for prostate hyperplasia (rezum, urolift).
He is a certified Bedside Assistant in robotic procedures for prostate cancer and partial nephrectomy.
He holds a postgraduate diploma in medical research methodology from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Thessaloniki and a PhD in the same faculty.
He has participated in conferences at home and abroad as chairman and speaker. He is the author of articles published in reputable scientific journals. In fact, the study on the effect of PRP on erectile dysfunction was the world's first randomized double-blind placebo study.
It is the doctor's belief that science must be put at the service of man, so that the best possible solution can be found by thoroughly investigating each patient's data.
