I was born in Athens in July 1976. I graduated in 2003 from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina. I completed my field service as a rural doctor at the Health Centre of Andros, Prefecture of Cyclades. I obtained the specialty title in Ophthalmology in 2013, after a residency at the Children's Hospital of Penteli, Athens and Papageorgiou Hospital, 2nd Ophthalmology Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
I trained in paediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology and strabismus in the UK, where I served as a Clinical Fellow at Moorfields Eye Hospital, University College London and Alder Hey Children's Hospital, Royal Liverpool University.
I have actively participated in international and national conferences, as well as being a lead author or co-researcher in international publications.
I contributed as a lecturer to the students of the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as to the training of new Ophthalmologists during my specialization abroad.
I have been maintaining a clinic in Ptolemaida since 2015, when I returned to Greece, and I have been a partner of the Agios Loukas Clinic since then.
I am married to Anastasios Tsiotsios, Interventional Pulmonologist and I live in Thermi, Thessaloniki. I am also the mother of Maria Tsiotsiou, to whom I devote any free time I have.
