The new Pediatric Nephrology Clinic operates in the "Agios Loukas" Clinic, under the responsibility of the pediatric nephrologist Eleftheria Kostantinis. This clinic provides high quality treatment in nephrological diseases and disorders of the urinary tract, from neonatal to 16 years of age.
Because the patients we take on are chronic, we feel it is very important that they feel safe and secure. This is achieved, first of all, by good communication between the doctor, relatives and patient. Each patient is fully informed about their condition, realistic goals are set and a relationship of trust is established. A feeling of certainty and security is also ensured by a high level of care. The paediatric nephrology team ensures that the patient receives up-to-date treatment in accordance with international standards.
Within the framework of holistic care, doctors of various specialties are also involved. In this way, we achieve fast, comprehensive and effective treatment of the disease, with the least possible burden on the child and relatives.
