Elektra Athiana is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist and has been working with St. Luke's Hospital since 2022.


He studied Medicine at the Democritus University of Thrace. Subsequently, he specialized in Pediatrics in Sweden and specialized in Pediatric Gastroenterology at the University Hospitals of Uppsala in Sweden and Basel in Switzerland. She has served as an Attending A at the Paediatric Gastroenterology Clinic at the Uppsala University Hospital for Paediatrics and has professional experience as an assistant physician at the Paediatric Surgery Clinic at the same University Hospital.


He is a member of the European Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology (ESPGHAN) endoscopy working group since 2019.


She has been responsible for teaching and practicing diagnostic and interventional upper and lower digestive endoscopy at the Endoscopy Learning Zone of the ESPGHAN Pan-European Congress of Pediatric Gastroenterology in Copenhagen in June 2022 and in Vienna in May 2023.


He has received the ESPGHAN International Exchange award in 2019 and has participated in numerous workshops and conferences.
