What should I bring to Hospital?

The thought that you will need to stay a few days in the Hospital can be quite stressful. Organising your suitcase, in case you need to be hospitalised, is the last thing you have in mind. The following list may be useful to you to know what you will need to pack with you.
Personal belongings
You can have with you your favourite items that will help you feel at home during your stay in the Hospital, such as:

• Loose, comfortable clothes, as well as a robe or sweater.
• Comfortable shoes and slippers for walking.
• Personal care products and toiletries, such as shampoo, conditioner, comb, toothbrush, shaving equipment and lotions.
• Notebook and pen for any notes or questions you want to address to your doctors.
• You can prepare playlists of your favourite songs spending pleasantly the hours you will be in your room. Don't forget to bring headphones too!
• Phone charger.
• Books, magazines or an online game to help you spend your time.

* St. Luke's Hospital offers free Wi-Fi access to patients and visitors.

Medical history
Do not forget to bring your previous examinations and any X-rays. Also, it is advisable to have with you:
• A list of the medications you have been taking.
• Your insurance details, if you have one.

What not to bring
It would be good to avoid having with you valuables, such as jewellery and large sums of money. On the second floor of the Hospital you will find an ATM, so you don't have to carry a lot of cash with you.
