Pediatric allergology is one of the newest pediatric specialties, which was born
in recent years due to the rapid increase in the number of children with allergic diseases. Now,
with our specialized knowledge, we can treat these
children and their families holistically.

and up to the age of 16 years. We take care of the full range of allergic diseases in
childhood, including:

Diagnosis | What to expect‍
Many parents easily attribute a symptom they see in their child to a possible allergic disease.

Our goal is to either rule out the existence of an allergic disease, or to confirm it when it is present. Every child who visits our clinic:
‍
- we take a complete allergic history - an objective examination is carried out, and
- in order to make the diagnosis it may be necessary to carry out skin prick procedures.

It is a painless and well tolerated procedure by children, which gives us the results within 15 minutes and basically highlights sensitizations to a variety of allergens.

* In the case of children with allergic asthma, there is the possibility of performing
and spirometry.

Address

Once the diagnosis has been made, the child leaves the clinic with a comprehensive action plan so that he or she and his or her family feel confident that they can manage a possible allergic reaction in the future. We always inform parents about all the treatment methods we have available, and in particular that of immunotherapy, which has been gaining ground in recent years.
In case of emergencies
The Clinic usually operates with scheduled appointments, but because there are also emergencies, these children can be referred at any time to the emergency department of the Pediatric Department of the Clinic and from there we undertake, together with the pediatricians, their management and guidance.
